Dewaco, which belongs to the Econet group, has gotten the largest order of its history.
New wastewater treatment plant is being built in Kuala Lumpur, and it will be one of the largest wastewater treatment plants in Malaysia. The plant will treat the wastewater of almost a million inhabitants. The plant will be finished in 2020.
Dewaco delivers altogether 96 chainscraper systems, and 48 scum collectors with installations. The company started the deliveries at the change of the year.
The systems will be delivered in three parts, and every two months. The installations of the systems start immediately when the systems arrive at the worksite. The commissioning of systems will be finished by the end of the year.
The value and the number of the systems of the order is Dewaco’s largest, and the project has employed the whole team in Laitila, and the group. The deal is significant for the whole Econet group.
- Managing and coordinating of the large order has been challenging, but rewarding. Thanks to the good team, the huge order is completely on time, says the plant manager Jari Virtanen.
Dewaco’s long presence and good contacts in Malaysia helped in getting the large deal.
