Cleantech company Dewaco Ltd, which belongs to Econet group, has gotten a new large deal. At the same time the company broke its own order record.
Dewaco will deliver overall 120 chain scrapers and 120 scum scrapers to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. In the order the number of systems is the largest, which Dewaco has ever delivered.
The previous record was 96 chain scraper systems, which are being delivered to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur during spring.
The parties do not tell the price. Thanks to succesful deals Dewaco will make a new record revenue, and will go after a revenue of even 10 million euros.
The chain scraper systems of the new order are delivered to Ho Chi Minh’s wastewater treatment plant, which is being extended at the moment. After the extension is finished, the plant will be one of the largest wastewater treatment plants in Southeast Asia. The plant will treat the wastewaters of approximately 1,4 million inhabitants.
The first part of the order is delivered in July, and the second in October.
- The project cycle has been long, and the first offer was offered in 2005, says the sales manager of Southeast area Siri Dahanayake.
The big order employs the whole Econet group. Laitila-based Dewaco is responsible for the project management and delivery. Slamex, which is situated in Lahti, manufactures part of the components.
- Competition of the project was tough, but thanks to good references and contacts I got the customer convinced. First impression is very important in Southeast, tells Dahanayake.
